Heather Viani
Heather Viani is a third-year student at SUNY New Paltz with a major in journalism and a minor in creative writing. She wants to become an assistant editor for a future career. She will collaborate with the editor in chief to research and plan new articles, commission articles, suggest sources and improvements for pieces, communicate with writers, reporters, and photographers to make sure deadlines are met, rewrite news releases, fact check the news, proofread, copy edit for the media, and so forth. Whenever she is on her own time, she listens to music, goes on social media, and shoots basketball hoops.
