Howie Good’s: “Stick Figure Opera”

SUNY New Paltz journalism professor Howard “Howie” Good released his new book “Stick Figure Opera,” a collection of 99 100-word prose poems, on Oct. 27. Good was the winner of the 2019 Grey Book Press Chapbook Competition and the 2017 Lorien Prize for poetry from Thought Crime. In 2015, he also won the Prize Americana for Poetry for his collection of poems entitled “Dangerous Acts Starring Unstable Elements.” Good also co-edits the journals “UnLost” and “Unbroken.”
