The SUNY New Paltz Biology Department welcomes all students to the campus greenhouse outside the Coykendall Science Building every Thursday beginning Oct. 10. Students can attend between 1-4 p.m. until Thursday, Dec. 5. The event is open to the public. Free Narcan Training
On Thursday, Oct. 24 and Nov. 21, the SUNY New Paltz University Police Department is hosting a free Narcan training. Participants will receive a free Narcan kit and learn how to administer Narcan to reduce the risk of an opiate/heroin overdose, as well as learn rescue breathing and tips on overdose prevention. The training will take place in the Student Union Building, Room 418 from 6-8 p.m. The sessions are open to the public, but require an RSVP. Production of “Henry V”
The SUNY New Paltz Department of Theatre Arts will showcase Shakespeare’s “Henry V” this fall at McKenna Theatre. The play, directed by John Patrick Hayden, will run on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from Thursday Nov. 14 to Sunday Nov. 24. Tickets will be available for purchase online starting Sept. 23. Ticket prices range from $10 to $18.
