Mike Block will be hosting the Ridge String Fling on Sunday, Oct. 27 at SUNY New Paltz. The string workshop will start at 1 p.m. in Shepard Recital Hall. The workshop is open to all students (8th grade and older) who play the violin, viola, cello and bass. A chamber music master class will begin at 2:45 p.m. in Shepard Recital Hall. Block’s performance will start at 4 p.m. in McKenna Theatre. The event will cost $20 (including a free t-shirt).
