Without Limits: "Why Are We Obsessed with the End of the World?"

On Monday February 10, Ted Toadvine will be presenting a lecture titled, “Why Are We Obsessed with the End of the World?” in Lecture Center 102 from 5 to 7 p.m. In this talk, Toadvine, an associate professor of sociology at Pennsylvania State University, discusses the threat of climate collapse and the controversy over the apocalyptic narrative of present day planet earth. This talk is the first spring event of the “Without Limits: Interdisciplinary Conversations in the Liberal Arts” series, continuing the year-long examination of the Anthropocene.
