Production of “Henry V”
The SUNY New Paltz Department of Theatre Arts will showcase Shakespeare’s “Henry V” this fall at McKenna Theatre. The play, directed by John Patrick Hayden, will run on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from Thursday Nov. 14 to Sunday Nov. 24. Music + Stars
Assistant Music Professor Alex Peh and Planetarium Director Raj Pandya will present a planetarium star show featuring the music of American Avant-Garde minimalists Steve Reich and John Adams. Show times are Friday, Nov. 15 at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 16 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 17 at 2 p.m. in the John R. Kirk Planetarium in the Coykendall Science Building. The performance will include “Hallelujah Junction,” “Piano Phase” and “China Gates,” accompanying a display overhead of constellations and celestial motions. General admission tickets start at $8, $6 for faculty/staff/seniors and $3 for students. Tickets can be purchased online here, or at the door.
