White Supremacy, Racism, and the Appropriation of Ancient History

The SUNY New Paltz history department, and co-sponsors ancient world studies program and the Campus Auxiliary Services will present “White Supremacy, Racism, and the Appropriation of Ancient History” on Monday, Oct. 21 at 5:30 p.m. in room 181 of Science Hall. Dr. Curtis Dozier, assistant professor of Greek and Roman Studies from Vassar College, will discuss the ways modern hate groups have misappropriated Greco-Roman culture and history in order to advance their agendas of hate.
