Free Narcan Training

On Thursday, Oct. 24 and Nov. 21, the SUNY New Paltz University Police Department is hosting a free Narcan training. Participants will receive a free Narcan kit and learn how to administer Narcan to reduce the risk of an opiate/heroin overdose, as well as learn rescue breathing and tips on overdose prevention. The training will take place in the Student Union Building, Room 418 from 6-8 p.m. The sessions are open to the public, but require an RSVP.
