Two days to create a film? Are you nuts? Yes!
Every semester, the SUNY New Paltz Media and Journalism Society hosts “Film 48.” What’s that? It’s an event through the Broadcast Education Association that requires students to create a short film in 48 hours using a specific genre, quote, prop and character name given to them that day! Teams assemble, write a script, and start filming and editing their short film. The films are showcased in front of a large audience and they choose the winners for Fall 2019. Here are the winners!
Winner: “Double Barrel Sunshine”
Runner-Up: “Spill”
