For members of Lisa Phillips’ Digital Storytelling class, finals week posed new opportunities for students to overcome personal challenges. With topics ranging from culinary efforts to athletic endeavors, students designed their exam using the art of film.

Dan O’Regan challenges himself to write a song in one week and perform it at an open mic night.

Novice Terence Gardner, takes on his culinary skills and cooks a humble feast of potatoes, broccoli and ground beef.

Brittanie Leigh, a former flute player, rekindles her passion for music and learns to play “Hallelujah” on the piano.

Julio Olivencia, formerly an avid runner, re-introduced pavement pounding into his daily schedule with hopes of bringing the sport back into his life.

Lauren Scrudato cooks for the first time by herself for 5 days during finals week.
