Celebrating Local Artists

Hudson Valley artists gathered at the Ulster County Fairgrounds on Labor Day weekend to strut their stuff at the 29th  Annual Woodstock-New Paltz Art & Crafts Fair. The Labor Day fair, which mirrors the Memorial Day fair at the beginning of the summer season, is reserved exclusively for artists with handmade crafts. Everyone from woodworkers to metal smiths were on display at this year’s fair demonstrating not only completed products but also showing how they work the seeming ordinary, everyday objects into things of beauty. For information on putting on a display or just to find out how to attend the fair, visit www.quailhollow.com.
