“Isle of Dogs” Film Screening and Discussion
The College of Liberal Arts & Sciences and Campus Auxiliary Services will be screening Wes Anderson’s “Isle of Dogs” on Tuesday, Oct. 29 from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in Lecture Center 102. This is the first event in the annual “Without Limits: Interdisciplinary Conversations in the Liberal Arts” series. “Isle of Dogs” is rated PG-13. Professor Jed Mayer will lead a discussion of the film immediately following the screening. This event is free and open to the public. Music Concert Series
SUNY New Paltz is hosting a music concert series of vocal and instrumental chamber music under the direction of Christiana Fortune-Reader, Alex Peh, and Edward Lundergan, including music by Palestrina, Monteverdi and Barber. The concert is on Tuesday, Oct. 29 from 7:30-9:30 p.m in Studley Theater and open to the public. The cost is $8 for general admission, $6 for faculty/staff/seniors, and $3 for students.
