As part of Communication & Media Week, the Communication and Media Department and the Communication and Media Society will be showing “Cruel and Unusual,” a film about transgender women being incarcerated in male prisons on Tuesday, March 19 at 6 p.m. in Lecture Center 102.

The screening will be followed by a question and answer session with the film’s director and New Paltz professor, Dan Hunt, as well as professors Karl Bryant and Alexandra Cox from the Sociology Department.

Refreshments will be served.
