SUNY New Paltz will be hosting the 21st Century Children’s Nonfiction Conference June 14-16. Noted writers, illustrators designers, publishers and editors will be holding workshops for those interested in opportunities in publishing nonfiction for children. Workshop topics include how to create books and other publications, how to approach traditional publishers with nonfiction ideas, and how to use 21st century technology to sell and market publications. Extra opportunities for one-on-one critiques, consultations, and manuscript and portfolio reviews with faculty members are available.
Registration for this event is $390 before March 15 and $430 after.
