Feb 27: Affirmative Action, Diversity and Institutional Racism: Alive and Well?

A student-faculty panel called “Affirmative Action, Diversity and Institutional Racism: Alive and Well?” will be held on Feb. 27 in the Coykendall Science Building auditorium from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Panelists will include professors Karanja Keita Carroll and Major Coleman of the Black Studies department, professor Anita Gonzalez of the theater arts department and Josette Ramnani, a senior majoring in political science and minoring in Black Studies.

The panel will be moderated by the faculty union’s affirmative action officer, professor Jerry Persaud of the department of Communication and Media.
