Though the economy continues in a downward spiral, the food industry remains in tact. According to the US Department of Labor in their 2008-09 Occupational Outlook Handbook, jobs in the food industry grow faster than average occupations.
- The owner of “Paul’s Kitchen” (above) recently opened his first restaurant in New Paltz. He has provided jobs in food preparation and service for 9 individuals, including college students and former stay-at-home moms.
